Our C-100/C-200 Encoders and Decoders now support the installation of custom TLS (SSL) certificates. This allows organisations to set up custom certificates to allow for data to be encrypted during transit. It has always been possible to install a third-party TLS proxy (e.g HAProxy) to handle TLS, but now this can be done natively in the product, simplifying deployment.
In addition to supporting TLS, we are performing regular security scans on our products to keep up-to-date with security best practices. In contrast to appliance-style products, we provide all customers with ssh access so they are able to manage security and monitoring as they see fit.
We are continuing to make sure our customers are able to maximise the benefits of using COTS and software for live video contribution.
